China textile machinery co.,ltd.(hereinafter as CTM), the predecessor of which is China Textile Machinery Manufacturing works, was established in 1920 and was converted to be a stock corporation on August 8th ，The enterprise total capital stock is 357000000 RMB which be divided by 52.91% state owned shares,6.25% legal equity ,7.21% public shares and 33.63% foreign capital shares. To date after restructuring ,CTM has transferred 38% state owned shares to its strategic investor. The corporation has 3025 employees, posses 233500 square meters floor space and 209800 square meters construction area.

      The main products includes all kinds of shuttle and shuttleless weaving machine ,stepless variator ,metering fuel dispensers metal powder products etc., among which the FAST rapier weaving machine ,Tp600 rapier weaving machine , JAT600 and JAT600A air jet weaving machine and metering fuel dispensers have already reached up-to-date world technology level. Moreover , SINILOOM flexible rapier weaving machine got the certificate of state class new product in 2001 and GA747/II rapier weaving machine got the certificate of new product of shanghai.

      Since the founding of the People s Republic of China ,the enterprise has produced 900000 sets of weaving machines in total, which covers more than 85% of the domestic market , among which 130000 sets were for exportation that sold to 40-plus countries and regions. CTM has 4125 sets of equipments ,among 19 sets are machining center that are 1990's technology level , and 2 FMS lines of machining system and sheet metal fabricating system , as well as the other NC controlled equipments.

      Splendid Performance:

      1948 The first standard automatic shuttle loom in China was created in CTM.

      1952 The first-rate mechanical casting workshop in the Far-east Asia was created and put into production in CTM.

      1953 The first metal powder products in China was created in CTM.

      1961 The first mechanical stepless variator in China was crearted in CTM.

      1986 license transfer of the advanced technology of rapier weaving machine from Smit/Nuovo Pignone of Italian ENI Group and began to prouduce the TP500 Weaving Machine .

      1992 Further cooperation was made with SMIT/Nuovo Pignone of Itakian ENI Group by establishing the "Shanghai Sinital Textile Machinery Co." so as to co-produce 6 kinds of products including TP600 and FAST Rapier weaving machine.

      1993 The technical know-how transfer of JAT600A air-jet weaving machine with current advanced level from TOYOTA Automatic Loom Works, Ltd and began to produce.

      1993 Qualified in the audit and certification for the ISO9001 system of CTM ,which was made by the Norwegian DNV International Quality Auditting Organization and the domestic SAC authority.

      1994 The high technical know-how of metering fuel dispensers was imported from MIDI/Nuovo Pignone of Italian ENI Group and starting to produce DP series fuel dispensers.

      1995 A10000 square meter workshop of Machining Center and CNC lathes was established .One FMS of 5 machining Centers and one sheet metal FMS were implemented and put into production.

      1994&1995 CTM's Communist Youth League was awarded prize of Red Flag Communist Youth League and Shanghai new long march commando.

      1994 CTM's disciplinary inspection division was awarded the prize of Shanghai disciplinary inspection system advanced organization.

      1996 CTM's party committee was awarded the prize of shanghai advanced grass root's party organize.

      2000 CTM's labour union was awarded the prize of shanghai model family of the employees.

      History of CTM's development

      Jiang Ze Ming , President of China and other Central Government Leaders visited CTM early or late and always concern about the development of CTM.

      In early 1990s Huang Guan Cong, a famous entrepreneur applied to work in CTM owing to its sharply dropped profit .As guided by the South Speech of Deng Xiao Ping and grasped the restructure of CTM ,he revived the CTM which the enterprise's economic profit reappeared ascend momentum in 1993 and 1994 .Thus ,he created the compeleing No.2 Textile Machinery Co. and CTM's domino effect in Shanghai.

      From the beginning of 2002 ,CTM entered the Virtual asset restructuring period In one hand ,CTM will make up the deficits and get surplus in the main industry ,in the other hand ,by invest high quality capital, CTM will develop high -tech industry ,take effort to get rid of ST cap , merge various textile manufacturers to resume the leading position in textile manufacturing industry ,promote the product level and increase the market share step by step due to be the largest and strongest domestic textile machinery manufacture.
